A short, opinionated guide to using the Axene brand in partnerships, co-marketing, integrations and press. Built so you can ship fast - without guessing about colors, fonts, or the cat.
The Axene wordmark is set in Google Sans Black, lowercase,
with a tight -3px letter-spacing
and a single yellow period. The mark is a softened square in
Axene Yellow with a black "a." Use one or the other.
Don't gradient them. Don't outline them. Don't rotate the period.

Also acceptable in text contexts: Axene. · Axene.io
Reserve 1× the cap-height of the wordmark on every side. Don't crowd it. Minimum legible size: 16px on screen, 12mm in print.
Partners get the brand exactly as it ships. Recoloring, stretching, shadowing or "improving" the logo will void co-marketing approval.

Axene Yellow and Carbon carry the brand. Cream is the canvas. Everything else is a quiet supporting cast. Aim for ~80% neutral, ~20% yellow.
Use 100 for highlights and pure brand moments. 50–10 are for backgrounds, hovers, and subtle accents. Never push yellow on top of white text - contrast fails immediately.
Always pair Axene Yellow with Carbon, never with another saturated color. Yellow on yellow is forbidden.
Long-form pages live on Cream, not pure white. White is reserved for inset cards and surfaces.
Signal Red is reserved for errors, destructive actions, and validation. Never marketing.
Google Sans sets the brand voice - confident, lowercase, tightly tracked. Figtree handles long-form body copy. DM Serif Display is reserved for editorial pull-quotes and the rare moment we need to feel old-money. JetBrains Mono handles labels and code.
"Software that works."

Direct. Specific. Slightly dry. Always pro-developer, always pro-Africa. Avoid hype, jargon, and motivational fluff. If a sentence could appear in any SaaS hero, rewrite it.
Short sentences. Real numbers. No "revolutionizing." If a developer wouldn't say it on Slack, we don't say it.
Mention KES, M-Pesa, EAT, Nairobi. Generic "Africa-wide" copy reads as a foreign company; we are not that.
We don't need to shout. The product is the proof. Lowercase logo, calm typography, big yellow when it matters.
Mumbuss is a mascot, not a personality. Copy stays adult. No "purr-fect" puns. Ever.
Mumbuss is the Axene cat - same brand family, separate domain at mumbuss.com. He shows up on stickers, error pages, and community moments. He is never on enterprise contracts, invoices, or partnership pitch decks.
Mumbuss is rendered as a single-color silhouette only. Default fill is Axene Yellow on dark backgrounds, or Carbon on light. Don't tint, gradient, photoreal, or anthropomorphize him beyond his existing pose.
Stickers, swag, error pages, community campaigns, developer outreach, mumbuss.com, and informal social posts.
Enterprise pitch decks, pricing pages, partnership contracts, security pages, or any place a CFO will read.

unchanged. Recolor only via fill on the parent group.
Don't redraw paths.
These are the canonical surfaces partners see. Co-branded materials should follow the same proportions: Axene wordmark on cream, partner mark on the right, separated by a 1px hairline.
