1. What to report
Send us a report if you have evidence of any of the following originating from, or hosted on, an Axene product:
- Spam or unsolicited email sent through Axene Mailer or any axene.io / mumbuss.com address.
- Phishing - emails, pages, or messages impersonating a brand to steal credentials or money.
- Malware - links, attachments, or hosted files that distribute malicious software.
- Fraud or scams - payment fraud, deceptive solicitations, fake offers.
- Harassment, threats, or hate speech directed at individuals or groups.
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) - reported to authorities immediately and removed without notice.
- Copyright or trademark infringement (DMCA-equivalent notices) - see our compliance page.
- Network abuse - DDoS, brute-force scanning, port scanning, or other malicious traffic from our infrastructure.
2. How to report
Email [email protected] with as much of the following as you can provide:
- Type of abuse - pick the closest category from section 1.
- Affected service - Axene Mailer, custom apps, business automations, axene.io, mumbuss.com, etc.
- Evidence - full email headers (not just the body), URLs, timestamps in UTC, IP addresses if known, screenshots.
- Your contact info - so we can follow up. Anonymous reports are accepted but harder to investigate.
For abuse involving the Mumbuss product or domain, you can also email [email protected].
3. What happens next
- Acknowledgement within 24 hours of receipt.
- Investigation - we verify the report against our logs, sender reputation data, and the offending content.
- Action - for verified abuse we take one or more of: warning, content removal, account suspension, IP block, or permanent ban. Fraud and CSAM trigger immediate suspension and reporting to authorities.
- Closure - we update you on the outcome where possible. Some details can't be shared because of privacy obligations to the reported party.
4. Law enforcement requests
Valid law enforcement requests should be sent to [email protected]. We require lawful process (Kenyan court order, subpoena, or its equivalent under a treaty Kenya is party to) for non-public user data. Emergency disclosure requests where there is risk to life are handled immediately.
5. Retaliation
We don't tolerate retaliation against reporters. If you report abuse and the reported party retaliates against you, contact us again with the new evidence and we'll act on it.
